Women are known for their resilience, yet all business owners face doubts and fears on a daily basis. On top of that, many women business owners feel additional internal pressures and the strain of professional environments not designed for our success. Join us for an afternoon of inspiring stories from fellow women business owners, connect with a community of peers, and leave with tools and techniques for overcoming doubt and braving your business!
If you are a woman business owner, or you aspire to be, the WBON Fall Conference will be invaluable! Join us to laugh and learn from a mix of speakers and a roundtable discussion where you’ll be invited to explore the challenges in your business with likeminded women professionals.
You will leave inspired, supported and prepared to take the next step in your business journey.
Highlights of the Day
The event, guided by emcee Mary Catherine Jones of Voice Over Vermont, kicks off with a keynote by Monica Chapman with her presentation entitled Build Back Better; Resilience in Life and Work.
Monica will be drawing upon her business experience in disaster reconstruction as Vice President of Business Development for Puroclean Managed Services & Owner of Construction Management Direct. Monica will discuss how women can be courageous, resilient and confident enough to step up and make massive changes to truly share the best of themselves with the world.
We will then lend the stage to five women who will each share a brief story on how resilience has played a role in their businesses and lives. Our speakers include:
– Jill Davies (Avatar Master)
– Beth Martell (Beth Martell Life Coaching)
– Vickie Wacek (Executive Director of BNI Vermont)
– Ellen Albertson (Tiger Wellness LLC)
– Rosann Kramer (Runway Auto)
After a short break we’ll move onto roundtable discussion groups where expert facilitators will guide the group in a conversation about ways to cultivate resilience in the midst of challenges.
Our endnote presentation will be an interview with Eliza Cain, owner of Red Hen Baking Co., facilitated by our emcee Mary Catherine Jones.
Let’s Celebrate!
Join us for a celebration of the day with an after party just outside the conference room doors in Juniper where attendees can purchase food and beverages. One complimentary drink ticket will be given to each attendee.
