Have you ever been interested in advocacy? Do you care deeply about an issue, but don’t know how to get involved? Let’s dive into the continuum of advocacy, understand the power of your unique voice, and look at the opportunities available. The Main Street Alliance of Vermont elevates the voices of small business owners on important public policy issues in Vermont. From equitable economic relief for businesses through COVID-19 to child care and paid leave, we’re bringing small business values into the public dialogue, advancing policies that are good for small businesses, employees, and the communities that sustain us.
Morgan Nichols, a Vermont native, Emerge VT graduate and Stowe Selectboard Member leads the organization with first-hand knowledge of local politics and community development. With a wide-ranging background including education, public-service, event production, and the field of leadership development, Morgan is passionate about working with the small business community to find ways to address the complex and intersectional issues that face Vermonters.
