Does the word “copy” leave you cowering in the corner? Does the mere mention of writing inspire images of your eighth grade English teacher cackling as you try to figure out where the commas go on your website’s about page?
In this very interactive workshop, we’ll find the fun in writing (or your money back), learning little tricks and tips through short exercises we do collaboratively. Then we’ll talk about how the copy we come up with works for us or against us and why. We’ll look at easy, quick, and concrete ways to tailor your business writing to get your audience’s attention, and you’ll leave the workshop with a discreet set of tools, including ways to banish that nasty English teacher from your imagination forever.
Provided by the Burlington Chapter Coordinators.
Due to concerns around COVID-19 all WBON chapter meetings will be held virtually through Zoom at least through 2020. An email containing the link will be sent prior to the event date. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Christine at info@wbon.org.
*****This event rescheduled from November*****
