This workshop will explain how, what, and when we eat impacts our work as well as our health.

Does your energy and mental focus go up-and-down during the day? Do you sometimes experience brain-fog, having to work even harder to get stuff done? Do you want to experience more creativity, better problem-solving, and build better working relationships? If yes, then let’s take a look at quitting sugar and super-charging your diet.

Drawing on the latest research in fields such as neuroscience and gastroenterology (think microbiome), this workshop will explain how, what, and when we eat impacts our work as well as our health. You’ll learn practical ways you can re-shape your diet to improve productivity, resilience and stamina now, while protecting you from progressive chronic disease in the future.

Due to concerns around the spread of the coronavirus all WBON chapter meetings for June will be held virtually through Zoom. An email containing the link will be sent prior to the event date. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Christine at info@wbon.org.

Dr. Andrea Grayson teaches in the Masters of Public Health program at UVM and is the founder of Breaking Free from Sugar, a 5- week online program that helps people break their physical and emotional attachment to sugar. She discovered her own sugar addiction by accident in 2016, and was frustrated by how hard it was to quit (and the fact that no one was talking about how bad it is). When she figured it out, she created the course to help others do it too.
