Keynote: Creating Value & Results Through Collaboration
The great thing about living in a small state like Vermont is that we are all connected through someone, in some way. The challenge can be growing your business in a competitive landscape, when we often know the same people. And, in what has been a pretty slow growing economic climate. Leslee MacKenzie, President & Owner of Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty, has not only grown her company from 13 sales associates and staff to nearly 100; she has also helped to establish and grow 53 small businesses underneath her. Leslee will discuss how she has developed a successful, strong, collaborative culture in an industry sometimes known for an individualistic and competitive environment. Leslee has thrived in an industry dominated by female professionals, yet led by very few at the executive level.

Founded in 2009, Vermont Comedy Club has grown from a small booking agency producing a few shows a year to a brick and mortar comedy club and training center. Natalie Miller and her husband, Nathan Hartswick, used the principles of improvisation to stay nimble and grow a non-existent market to a point where they created careers for themselves, and others, in their home state of Vermont.
