Nuts & Bolts of Growing your Business with Employees: Everything you ever needed to know
Many hands can make light work in our businesses. But if we do not know the specifics of becoming an employer and details of having employees, it can feel like more work than help!
Join us and gather vital information on the nitty gritty details, roles and responsibilities of becoming an employer.
Marianne McGee, from the Vermont Department of Labor will discuss:
- different employee types
- paper work required by the state and federal government
- and other topics like insurance needs.
It will be one stop shopping from an expert in addition to question and answer and large group discussion around employment and business growth. Even if you already have employees, this session will still have value -- in addition to the added value you bring by sharing your own experiences with other aspiring employers .
Marianne McGee currently works as an Unemployment Field Auditor for the Department of Labor. Her career started in NYC for Louis Vuitton as a Assistant Controller and Computer Manager but on a vacation to Vermont she never left. With 30 years of bookkeeping experience in addition to owning a consulting business supporting business start ups on top of owning a property maintenance company with up to 14 employees, Marianne’s experience and depth with business and employment will certainly be helpful in this session!
