In today’s “new world of work”, work and life have become fully integrated. In order to have better days at work and in life, we need to make a conscious effort to do so. Our first and most important task is to identify our intentions. Simply put, we need “pause” to understand our purpose and our goals to create our best days.
We have the power to craft our own meaning and positive mindset. We have the choice to bring our best selves to work each and every day to in order to perform and function at a high level. Our energy, health, and wellbeing depend on it! You will leave this workshop with individual and organizational strategies for increasing engagement and creating measurable business results.
Lori Smith has over 30 years of healthcare knowledge and how it relates to behavior change and organizational impact. She has worked in the field of wellness for 22 years as thought leader and change agent. She has spent the majority of her career helping employers create happy, healthy and well environments so individuals can bring their best selves to work each day. She has supplemented her wellness experience with on-going studies in group facilitation skills, Appreciative Inquiry, strategic planning, organizational development, and leadership training, including certification as a Wellness Culture Coach.
With Special Guest, Alison Hemphill: Alison Hemphill is a Senior Client Engagement Manager at Cigna and helps Vermont companies becoming healthier and more productive through wellness and engagement strategies. Her passion for the workplace started with health improvement but has expanded to include all aspects of work that influences the physical and emotional health of an individual. She is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Mindfulness Studies in Leadership and Business at Lesley University.
