Topic:  How to Make the Ask, Close the Deal

Overview:  Your prospect understands the pros and cons. They have a problem, and they know the service or product could solve it for them. You’ve established a connection. The budget is good to go and the time is right. Now all that’s left to do is close the deal.

Yet small business owners, (and in particular women), often struggle with wording for their deal closing. Does this sound too pushy? Too weak? Should you ask a question, or use a statement instead? But there are several strong ways to close a deal — and practice builds confidence and comfort.

Heather and Pat will briefly highlight the challenge, offer concrete tips, and play the roles of business owner and prospect. Then the group will work in pairs to practice with each other.
