2017 PLANNING! Your board met for a planning retreat in late January to discuss our plans for the year, with the purpose in mind of making WBON a more viable and dynamic organization for its members. Major goals in support of our purpose include sustaining the financial health of the organization and bringing in new members. We have many sub-goals to enhance your experience as a member and to help introduce others to the benefits of WBON! This month’s topic is, “Let’s Connect! Networking Made Easy!” Do you ever: Talk yourself out of networking events because they seem like a waste of time? Go to an event only to find yourself talking with people you already know? Feel dread or freeze-up when someone asks you “So, what do you do?” Networking events can be fun, easy, and an effective use of your time. Public Policy Committee
The WBON Public Policy Committee meets on the 3rd Monday of each month to help address the need for the voice of women business owners in the public policy conversation in Vermont.
